Walt Disney World has quietly raised its top-end ticket and annual pass prices, while Disneyland has raised several prices as well.

Both resorts price single-day tickets by date, though Disney World’s single-day pricing also varies by park.

At Disney World in Florida, starting prices remain $119 for one-day, one-park admission at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, its least expensive park. But newly released pricing for the 2027 holiday season shows one-day, one-park admission for Magic Kingdom now reaches $229 on Christmas Day 2027 and New Year’s Eve 2027. That’s up from $209 for the same dates this year and up from $219 for several previously released 2027 dates.

Additionally, Disney World increased its annual pass pricing by $10 for the entry-level Pixie Dust Pass, $40 for the Pirate Pass, $40 for the Sorcerer Pass and $120 for the top-tier Incredi-Pass. The Incredi-Pass is the only pass available to all guests. The Pixie Pass and Pirate Pass are limited to Florida residents, while the Sorcerer Pass is available to Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members.

At Disneyland in California, starting prices, top-end prices and Magic Key (annual pass) prices remained flat, but several middle-tier prices increased roughly 3% to 4% and park-hopper pricing increased by $5 to $10, depending on the dates, according to analysis by MickeyVisit.com.

“Disney’s making a choice to keep (Disneyland’s starting) $104 ticket low in order to maintain accessibility to the Disneyland experience for families. They view having accessible prices as an important on-ramp for people to become lifelong Disney fans,” Gavin Doyle, MickeyVisit.com founder, told USA TODAY.

How to Save on Disney Tickets

Check Disney World and Disneyland’s online ticket calendars to find the cheapest dates to visit and time your trips around that.

Disney World is also beta testing a new AI tool with select website users that lets guests ask open-ended questions, such as, “What are the cheapest dates to visit by month and season?”

Both resorts’ websites list their latest promotions and deals.

Some guests also go the extra mile, purchasing Disney gift cards at a slight discount at warehouse retailers like Sam’s Club and using those to purchase tickets.
